Recession strategies boost long term propects, say CFOs
- 58% of senior finance executives say decisions made during the downturn have improved their business's long term prospects
- Over a third of respondents expect to increase headcount this quarter
- 81% of UK respondents expect demand for their products or services to recover by the end of 2010
The economic downturn has led to some longer term upsides for business, with almost 60% of UK respondents agreeing that the decisions their companies made during the recession have improved their business’s long-term prospects. The latest American Express/CFO Research Global Business & Spending Monitor Survey found that senior finance executives are optimistic about the demand for their companies' products and services, with more than eight out of 10 respondents in the UK seeing, or expecting to see a sustained increase in demand for their produc
