Less than a month before the government’s CRC Energy Efficiency scheme comes into force in the UK, and a new survey suggests that carbon management strategies are woefully lacking in many organisations and many are failing to capitalise on significant potential business opportunities as a result.
European companies’ carbon emissions have virtually no impact on their ability to raise finance and the cost of complying with carbon legislation has so far been minimal, according to the study published by credit ratings agency Standard and Poors this week.
