G20: No serious harm done

  • The Financial Stability Board must publish the key ratios
  • Mutual assessment is a good idea but won't work without sanctions

After basking in the sun for the two days of their summit, leaders of the G20 flew out of Pittsburgh on 25 September pledging a bright outlook for the world economy and financial system. The next day the skies opened and the rain poured.

So after all the hype, what do we know now about the weather outlook for the economy that we did not know before?
