Sixty economists back Darling's spending cuts pace

Days after 20 economists backed Tory calls for immediate spending cuts, some 60 economists have backed Labour's strategy to delay cuts for fear of delaying recovery.
Im two separate letters to the Financial Times, the economists argue that the emphasis should be on returning to “robust economic growth” and rejects the Tory warning that Britain's triple A credit rating is at risk if the government does not start cutting spending this year.
