The financial sector has been through some turbulent times in recent months. No one would argue that its reputation hasn’t suffered in the wake of stories about excessive bonuses and emergency bail-outs. A culture of poor decision-making by individuals in the most senior positions at high-profile financial institutions has also severely clouded the way people view the industry. Unsurprisingly, all this has taken its toll on the morale of employees working in the sector.
