Brown under fire for management of UK economy

Prime Minister Gordon Brown has been accused by the the Institute of Fiscal Studies (IFS) of leaving the UK in “one of the weakest fiscal positions in 2010” thanks to his mismanagement of the economy.
The report stated that the government under Brown as Chancellor had “put the UK’s finances in a better shape before the credit crunch” than the Tories had prior to the 1990 recession.
