Gartner: 62% of CEOs see IT as key in post-recession strategy

- 71% of respondents claim revenue growth a key aim in 2010, not cost-cutting
- Leaders should propose new ways in which technology supports existing and new customers
Nearly two-thirds of CEOs have acknowledged the importance of IT in the building of a post-recession strategy, according to a new survey published by Gartner.
The findings have been released in the “Early findings from the 2010 Gartner CEO and business executive survey” report, which confirmed the thoughts and opinions of over 190 senior business executives from UK and US companies with over $1bn in turnover. The survey excluded technology companies and government agencies from taking part.
