Gartner: CEO optimism and the economics of e-commerce

Earlier this month we saw a number of top-flight CEOs say the UK is pulling out of recession but what they were unclear about was the pace of recovery, the mechanics and how the UK economy should evolve.

Analysts at Gartner Group are less equivocal, saying that CEOs are placing new bets on e-commerce as part of their return-to-growth strategy. Gartner’s Mark Raskino, writing exclusively for Finance Week, has clear views about the relationship between e-commerce and getting back to growth.
