Microsoft CFO revs up at General Motors

  • Microsoft's outgoing cost cutting CFO heads to General Motors

General Motors has appointed Chris Liddell, chief financial officer of Microsoft, to the same role at the US carmaker.

Liddell replaces Ray Young, who was appointed as GM’s vice-president of international operations earlier this month and who is seen by many as the architect of the complex bankruptcy procedures that GM went through earlier this year.
