Job prospects pick up for finance directors
Increased M&A activity is paving the way for FDs with IT transformation skills to take the next step in their career, explains recruitment expert Lynne Hardman.
As the British economy sank into the depths of recession, organisations stalled recruitment, particularly at senior levels, while companies rationalised under escalating fiscal pressure. Now, as the green shoots of economic upturn take root, the market for financial directors and chief financial officers has begun to flourish.
