Document management and imaging software author, V1 Document Management, today announces a partnership with Toronto-based DML Systems, a supplier of Sage Accpac accounting software. Under the terms of the partnership, DML Systems will supply V1 Document Management’s solutions to their Sage Accpac customers and prospects, enabling them to reap the financial and environmental benefits of having a paperless environment directly from their Accpac system.

Cardiff and Vale College, which will be formed by the merger of Barry College and Coleg Glan Hafren to create one of the largest further education (FE) organisations in Wales, is implementing a financial management system from Advanced Business Solutions. This integrated system, which will include electronic procurement and workflow functionality, will improve financial reporting and support the new college’s sustainable agenda by eliminating time-consuming paper-based processes. The core modules will go-live on 1 August 2011 with a phased implementation to follow.

JET Total Vehicle Solutions (JET), a leading provider of vehicle solutions and services to manufacturers and leasing companies, is to speed-up its purchase-to-pay (P2P) processes by implementing Version One’s document management and imaging systems. JET is anticipating being able to reduce the time taken to close its financial accounts by up to ten days and reduce manual data entry by 80% using Version One’s technology tightly integrated into its Sage 200 accounting system. The software will go-live at the end of June 2011.
