Eclipse Partners with Version One to Deliver Integrated Document Management to Microsoft Dynamics GP and SunSystems Users

Eclipse www.eclgrp.com, a global Microsoft and Infor business solutions provider, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Version One www.versionone.co.uk. Under the terms of this agreement, Version One’s integrated document management and imaging software is now available to all of Eclipse’s Microsoft Dynamics GP and Infor FMS SunSystems customers.

Version One’s software adds considerable value to the existing functionality in the Microsoft Dynamics GP and Infor FMS SunSystems financial management systems, enabling users to electronically create, deliver, authorise, store, manage and process their financial documents. By eliminating the need for businesses to print, photocopy, post and file paper documents, they reduce manually-intensive administration whilst significantly cutting costs, freeing-up filing cabinet space and supporting their environmental policies.

Using Version One’s solutions, Microsoft Dynamics GP and Infor FMS SunSystems users can automate their purchase-to-pay processes, such as imaging purchase invoices, automatically routing invoices for electronic approval and electronically delivering remittance advices. Users can also reduce manual data entry of purchase invoice information by up to 80% using Version One’s optical character recognition (OCR) technology. In addition, sales invoices and statements can be electronically created, delivered and automatically stored in the archive, automating the order-to-cash cycle.

As all imaged documents are linked to the relevant transactions in the finance system and can be accessed by authorised users either directly from the finance system or by using Version One’s web browser, this ensures that documents can be quickly and easily retrieved whilst remaining securely archived.
