-SAP Business One integration added to the Compleat Software e-procurement portfolio-

08 June 2010: Compleat Software Limited http://www.compleatsoftware.com today announces the further expansion of its portfolio of supported accounting software products with the addition of integration to SAP Business One. The company’s e-procurement, purchase automation and employee expenses management solution ‘Compleat’ has been rebranded to the name of ‘Procurement One’ for use in conjunction with SAP Business One.

SAP Business One is one of the fastest growing solutions in the ERP and accounting software arena, owing to its rich functionality and competitive price point for small to medium sized businesses. SAP Business One joins a range of back office accounting systems supported by Compleat Software’s browser-based solution, including Microsoft Dynamics GP, Infor FMS SunSystems, Pegasus Opera II and Coda Dream.

The tight, real-time integration of Procurement One powered by Compleat extends the already rich functionality of SAP Business One to address spend control, purchase automation and employee expenses at a very compelling price point. Web-based purchase order generation will provide cashflow management and forecasting based on actual and committed spend, which is delivered through full commitment accounting.

Organisations are increasingly demanding an improvement in the productivity of their staff by removing the paper trail and automating their processes. Purchase automation and employee expenses solutions that are affordable, fast to deploy and easy to use are of increasing importance to small to medium sized businesses. Neil Robertson, CEO of Compleat Software, says, “The recession drove demand for increased productivity, spend control and quantifiable cash savings. Now, this means that finance directors have the ability to consolidate suppliers in order to deliver significant savings through better and more focused purchasing. The money that can be saved by using an e-procurement system like Procurement One goes straight to the bottom line and provides a quantifiable return on investment in less than six months.”

Procurement One also provides the ability for the finance department to take centralised control over corporate budgets, ensuring that every requisition / purchase order is always in budget and included within the cashflow forecast automatically, delivering automated purchase ordering, centralised budget control and corporate cashflow management based on fact. It facilitates a consolidation of suppliers to maximise buying power and negotiate the best possible credit terms, generating the appropriate Terms & Conditions with each order, whilst also capturing the supplier’s performance to aid future negotiations.

The launch of Procurement One also holds added benefits for Compleat Software’s partners. As Robertson explains, “For channel partners selling across multiple accounting software platforms, the agnostic nature of Compleat’s offering enables them to access an ever growing market, positioning them as experts in e-procurement software and services. What’s more, early adopters of Compleat look set to experience a rapid growth in new business opportunities with minimum competition in terms of functionality and price.”

Available in three editions – Standard, Professional and Enterprise – Procurement One is a long term strategic solution for customers that is suitable for the mass market, scalable to an SME’s needs and responsive to future growth, at whatever rate the customer requires.
Robertson continues, “There is a demand, now more than ever, for financial directors to take control of corporate spending and employee expenses. This, however, is not simply a case of locking down all spend; it is about maximising the use of corporate cash and getting the business in shape to address the growth in the market as it improves.”

Robertson concludes, “The only way for any FD to attain control over expenditure and create a budgetary environment that reflects the organisation’s short and long term objectives is to achieve complete, real-time visibility of every purchase. By capturing every request to purchase electronically, it is possible to have a continuous, up-to-date view of committed expenditure, enabling immediate decision-making to reflect market and business change. Purchase automation represents the low hanging fruit of improved productivity and increased profitability.”

Ends.
