20 September 2011 – West Suffolk Hospital NHS Trust, recently named the top performing hospital in England for the quality of care it delivers to its patients, is implementing electronic document imaging and data capture software from Version One.

Version One’s software will speed-up the processing of 45,000 purchase invoices each year and help the Trust to more easily meet its ten day small to medium sized enterprise (SME) supplier payment target. Version One’s systems are expected to go-live to approximately 70 users in the autumn of 2011.

Document management and imaging software author, Version One, is a finalist in seven separate categories of the DM (Document Manager) Awards 2011. This year's winners will be announced at an awards ceremony to be held at the Hotel Russell in London on 29 September 2011. Version One was a DM Awards winner in 2007 and 2008 and was shortlisted in four categories in 2010.

Now in its fifth year, the DM Awards acknowledge and reward the outstanding products, suppliers and projects in the document management industry.

Organisations will have to be forced to become greener according to Version One’s survey of 110 senior finance professionals

A survey by document management software company, Version One, highlights that financial professionals believe that financial incentives and new environmental legislation are key to persuading organisations to reduce their negative environmental impact. Version One carried out the research with 110 senior financial professionals (finance directors and managers) across a range of UK public and private sector organisations.

Version One is a finalist in the Paperless Office & Document Management category of the Software Satisfaction Awards 2011 (SSA11) for the fifth consecutive year. The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony, compered by Alistair Campbell, on Tuesday 18 October 2011 at the London Marriott Grosvenor Square. Version One is aiming to become a three-time winner of the Software Satisfaction Awards, having previously won the Paperless Office accolade in 2007 and 2010.

Document management and imaging software author, V1 Document Management, today announces a partnership with Toronto-based DML Systems, a supplier of Sage Accpac accounting software. Under the terms of the partnership, DML Systems will supply V1 Document Management’s solutions to their Sage Accpac customers and prospects, enabling them to reap the financial and environmental benefits of having a paperless environment directly from their Accpac system.
