Carphone Warehouse splashes £30m on new billing system

The aim of the project is help the business shift all its customers onto a common billing platform.
Finance director Roger Taylor says following the mobile communication retailers acquisitions of Talk Talk, Onetel, and AOL UK, customers are now spread across a variety of different internal billing and customer relations packages.
Taylor also reveals the company will continue to hold its debt entirely in bank facilities, despite expecting it to expand to as much as £650m in March 2007 from £273.4m in April this year.
