Hunting for Black Gold - Kevin Hart at Cairn Energy
The oil & gas group, where Hart has been finance chief since 1998, is planning to list the bulk of the business in the Indian Stock Exchange before he departs to become chief executive at exploration minnow Bowleven.
Hart is well aware that the listing will be a challenging transaction following the companys well-publicised bust-up with the Indian government in March.
Cairn was accused of making misleading claims about new Rajasthan reserves.
Hart insists it was more of a misunderstanding about reserve comparisons.
