Manpower: robust job prospects for finance professionals
The latest employment survey from recruitment giant Manpower suggests rising job hires in the business and professional services sector for the third quarter in a row.
Its data suggests a 7% boost (seasonally adjusted) for the third three-month period in a row, which equals a 10% rise year on year.
That still translates to a sluggish overall job market, which has only risen by 1%, but that part of the job market that includes accountancy, insurance and outsourcing is one of the best performers – up a very healthy 5%.
Its UK MD Mark Cahill says the business is seeing “real demand” for change management and project management specialists, particularly within the banking sector.
