Findel Group finds new FD

Home shopping firm Findel Group has named Tim Kowalski as its new finance director.
Kowalski was previously group FD of Manchester-based home shopping giant N Brown, furniture and beds retailer Homestyle Group and kitchen, bathroom and bedroom firm Homeform.
Chairman David Sugden said: “There is a tremendous amount to do to solidify our finance structure and drive business performance. Tim's experience both of the home shopping sector and of business restructuring will, I am sure, add great value.”
Last month, Findel said that irregularities in the 2009 accounts of its Hyde-based education division were worse than feared, leading to a £6.4m profits hit for the group.
