Stuart Whitwell is joint managing director and co-founder of Intangible Business, the brand valuation, strategy and development consultancy.
He is a Chartered Management Accountant and Chartered Marketer and has carried out over 100 intangible asset valuation assignments including some of the world’s biggest brands in many industry sectors, including FMCG, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, travel, fashion, consumer electronics, tobacco, engineering, retail, media and wine and spirits.
Projects include global valuations for balance sheet reporting, corporation restructuring, insolvency and administration, transfer pricing and tax management, business management, licensing strategy, dispute resolution and M&A due diligence. Clients include Laura Ashley, Campari, Fortune Brands, Vodafone, Cosworth Engineering, RSPB, Ozwald Boateng, Absolut, Ebookers and Woolmark.
Prior to co-founding Intangible Business Stuart worked for Unilever’s MacFisheries, Reed International, Brown and Root, Sealand and then ten years with Allied Domecq in the international drinks industry, particularly in Europe and Asia.
